Teri S. Mace

Ms. Mace graduated from the University of Oklahoma of Law in 1986, after clerking for the Oklahoma Supreme Court while in law school. She holds a B.S. in broadcast journalism from the University of Kansas William Allen White School of Journalism. Ms. Mace was admitted to the bar in 1986, and has practiced in commercial litigation in state and federal courts in north Texas for nearly 20 years. Her experience includes both small and large firm practice, as well as time spent as in-house counsel handling both litigation and transactional matters. Her current practice areas include creditor’s rights, bankruptcy, and other commercial litigation. Ms. Mace is licensed in Texas, and admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern, Eastern and Southern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Mace worked as in-house counsel for a major utility company for more than a decade in its customer operations business unit. During the course of employment with this company, she managed a collections and bankruptcy case load, representing the utility in Texas and nationwide. Ms. Mace also handled personal injury, products liability and property damage cases, contract development, review, negotiation, and litigation, regulatory and legislative drafting, review and opinions, business process development, and project management, as well as general business and customer relations consultation. Ms. Mace has courtroom experience in all levels of state trial courts, and in federal bankruptcy court.
